GEAS Sanità, an insurance brokerage firm specialized for 30 years in protecting healthcare facilities, medical professionals, and religious entities, has joined Wide Group, one of the most dynamic insurance brokerage firms in Italy.
The company, based in Rome and Milan, was previously part of the German group Ecclesia and operated under the name Ecclesia GEAS Sanità. With the Wide Group operation, it returns to its original name, GEAS Sanità, and launches a new phase of development to further benefit its clients.
Since 2019, under the leadership of Antonio Micalizzi and Alessandro Schmitt von Sydow, the firm has been active not only in insurance brokerage and consultancy but also in risk management and self-insured claims management (SIR). GEAS Sanità has followed a growth path that strengthened its leadership in its specialized sectors, culminating in this strategic union with Wide Group.
