I was born in Cagliari on July 23, 1951, and have been dedicated to the insurance sector since 1970. In 1979, I was a founding member of Eurobroker, a brokerage firm that, despite its decentralized location in the Dolomites, established a prestigious standing within the national rankings.
In 1985, following the enactment of Law No. 792 of November 28, 1984, I was among the first in Italy to be officially registered, both personally and for my firm, in the National Register of Brokers. That same year, I was awarded the BIPAR International Prize in Madrid for my work on the functions of insurance intermediaries in society. I have served as the President of Eurobroker since 1993.
My institutional commitment includes two years on the Board of Directors of A.I.B.A. (Italian Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers), where I was later appointed Head of the Information Technology Commission. Since 1991, I have repeatedly served as the A.I.B.A. delegate for IT affairs. From 1996 to 2018, I was a member of the Board of Arbitrators (Collegio dei Probiviri).
In 2005 and 2006, I served as Chairman of the Operating Committee for the AIBA F-Insurance project, which succeeded the 1991 RITA project, aimed at developing an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platform between insurance companies and brokers. My academic contributions include teaching "Analysis of Brokerage Systems" for the Master’s program at the Academy of Insurance Brokerage, organized by CINEAS under the patronage of the Politecnico di Milano (2003–2004).
In 2008, I co-founded Green Power Insurance Broker S.r.l., a firm dedicated to supporting companies in the renewable energy sector, where I served as President. In 2016, I managed the integration of the firm into Wide Group. Wide Group is a leading brokerage firm born from the union of three centers of excellence: Brokerstudio, Eurobroker, and Venice Brokers, bringing together over 40 years of experience, diverse histories, and specialized expertise.
